The mission of the West Haven Media Center is to provide an environment that promotes reading and to teach students to access, evaluate and use information by providing resources and experiences which contribute to lifelong learning. Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 7:45 am - 2:45 pm.

Library Media Center Announcements Have a Happy and Safe Winter Break!READ TO SUCCEEDRead to Succeed is an initiative of the Children's Reading Foundation of Knox County which encourages children in grades PreK through 3rd to read with a grown-up 20 minutes every day outside of school. West Haven will be sending home with each student in PreK through 3rd grade a Reading Pledge. This is a pledge between the student and their Reading Buddy (a parent, grandparent, older sibling or other relative or friend) to spend 20 minutes a day reading together. Students will keep a log of how many minutes they read each day, and turn their logs in weekly. More information will be given out at our Open House, but look for those Reading Pledges and Reading Logs in your student's papers.
